Learn the Secret to This Program
Strength Training: How can I be Consistent with my Workouts and get Results with my busy schedule? This comes down to really only one thing; having motivation. Having motivation is the most important thing towards you achieving your goals. If you aren't motivated to do it personally for yourself and no one else, then chances are, it won't happen. Find your primary motive, and make sure it's a motive that doesn't disappear as soon as you achieve something. A friend recently told me how he achieved great results because his motive was to get a girlfriend. As soon as he got the girl though, his results came to an abrupt halt. Make sure your motivation is coming from something that will stay consistent. This being said, motivation is the most important thing you have going for you on your quest for success. Motivation is what fuels discipline and consistently if it is upheld and fed regularly. Have you ever heard the phrase, where there is a will, there is a way? It's true. If you don't want it, it won't happen. I'm going to go so far as to say that every person who has had success in life has had the motivation to do what they want. This is what makes them successful. If you have motivation, you won't give up when things get hard. If you have motivation, you won't listen to negative people trying to drag you down or trying to get you to live the average life. If you have motivation, you won't let things drag your focus away from what it is that you really want. If you have motivation, you will do whatever it takes. If you have motivation, you will make sacrifices. If you have motivation, you will prioritize the important things that need to be prioritized for you to succeed. If you have motivation, you will be open to change and to putting yourself outside your comfort zone. If you have motivation, well I think you get the point... Just make sure you have it. If you don't, go get it. Many people start out with almost the exact circumstances in life. However, some fail and others succeed at a very high level. Why is this? Is it because the gods frowned at one person and smiled at the other? Is it because one was more worthy then the other? No, it's because one person was motivationally stronger then the other. They trained themselves to feed their own motivation and they did whatever they could to keep this motivation alive. Again, they trained themselves to feed their own motivation and they were determined to do whatever it takes to get the job done. If they had motivation, they probably had fun in the process too. The motivated person will always come out on top and dominate the unmotivated person who may have been given a "better hand" in life. There is a quote that says, "Luck favors the prepared". What better way to get prepared then to learn the guided principles involved to getting fit? Do you want to dominate in life or do you want to be a quitter? Will people look at your life and see average effort and average results? Or will they see someone who always pushed hard no matter what? Personally, before my success in this industry, I can tell you that virtually everyone who knew me thought I was crazy. My girlfriend left me, my parents told me to just apply myself to school and forget about fitness, and most people laughed. However, some didn't. Some knew where I was coming from because they themselves were there as well at some point in their life and they emerged as the dominant players in this game that we call live.
